positive birth movement group
Pregnancy is best when you’re supported by a bunch of women who have been there, done that, and got the POSITIVE BIRTH t-shirt.
If you’re sick of scare stories, then this is the place for you!
what is the positive birth movement?
In the words of Milli Hill (founder):
We are a global network of free to attend antenatal groups, linked up by social media.
We connect pregnant women together to share stories, expertise and positivity about childbirth.
We aim to challenge the epidemic of negativity and fear that surrounds modern birth, and help change birth for the better.
It’s a monthly mother’s meeting held at the CESSAC Community Centre on the first Saturday of the month from 09:30-11:30.
It is open to all pregnant women, their partners, children, birth buddies, and anyone else you’d like to bring with you.
The first meeting will be happening as soon as all the paperwork is complete, so please keep an eye on the Facebook group and don’t just turn up.
Birth stories told by women who were active participants in giving birth often express a good deal of practical wisdom, inspiration, and information for other women.
